This is a 40Mhz math co-processor (Floating Point Unit) for some Amiga memory cards such as
A1200 8MB expansion and accelerators such as selected Apollo, Terrible Fire, M-Tec and others. It will accelerate all maths intensive programs and allows your Amiga to software that requires an FPU.
It is in PLCC format so check compatibility with your accelerator/ram board.
